In 2010 I worked at a dog kennel on the weekends for some extra cash with a kid from Inglewood, CA. He mentioned that his barber, Marty, was looking for a new logo and that I would be a good fit for the job based off what he'd seen me draw at the kennel.

A few weeks later Marty had the logo he was looking for. I had more confidence in my design skills, and I was able to quit the dog job.
